I aimed to craft a logo that exudes boldness and captures the spirit of the brand. The strategic use of negative space introduces a layer of complexity, allowing for dual interpretations—a woman's side profile or the subtle outline of a house. This intentional ambiguity enhances memorability, inviting viewers to view the logo multiple ways. The dynamic shape of the flame, coupled with the triangle shape, introduces a subtle sense of motion, adding vibrancy to the design. For the typography, I selected Portofino, a typeface influenced by Italian hand-lettered posters from the early twentieth century, making it a subtle nod to Italian tradition. All these elements invite customers to experience the warmth, passion, and sophistication they can find at Trattoria Della Vesta.
